Adolfo and I took a break from work and studying on Sunday to enjoy a nice walk on a new trail he's been talking to me about. He always finds these neat little places when he is looking for places here to fish.
So finally we decided to check it out, and just get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air! Little did I know this nice, calm, relaxing walk would turn into a 5+ mile hiking trail, lol! Looking back WOW we got a fabulous work out, and nice tan, but it killed me! Thank goodness God blessed me with a husband who is patient, and a HUGE motivator and encourager, because I wouldn't have finished without him, but I am so glad I did. I can't wait to do it again, just probably more in the evening, to enjoy a beautiful sunset, we'll have to time that just right!
There were so many beautiful things to see, the trees, no sky lines, the water trail & running rivers, and just a nice 2.5 hour conversation with my husband....but as we were walking, and Adolfo was waiting for me to "catch-up" look at our little treasures! I feel like it was God's little gift to us, our special moment on the trail to remind us what it's all about.
Our Love Rock and walking cane!

First of all, isn't that rock just perfect, I LOVE IT! Here is what makes it even more special, I saw it on the way up the trail, and was bummed I didn't have my phone to capture it....but then we just kept going! As we were walking we found this stick, it was perfect size for Adolfo, and it reminded me of my Grandpa's old cane stick, I didn't say anything at the moment, it just made my heart harm remembering his stick. As we were walking Adolfo said he wanted to keep it strip is a bit, and polish it, and he was going to turn it into a walking stick, PERFECT! One of the million things I love about him, is some of his ways remind me so much of my Grandpa, his kindness and peacefulness...and here he goes again, now he will have a walking stick story to share with his grand kids too!!!!!
As we were walking I brought up the rock, I think he could tell I liked it (I like hearts), so he said if it was still there he would carry it back to the car, so I could take my picture......so 2 miles later here you have it our picture.....my heart, his walking stick!
Our life lately,
