Celebrating Kadyn (I think thats how we'll spell it!)

So, today is a great day. Adolfo has his finals this evening and then we are school free for a semester, I can't wait! This gives us time to just be together and get prepared to our new journey that will begin September 6, 2008 so mark your calendars. He loves surprises just as much as me. I had to work a couple of hours later this evening so I swung by Starbucks and got him a sweet card and gift card so that I could treat him to a drink before his test! He loved it, since I can't be there with him, I am taking him on a date in spirit :)!

So this past weekend he had a really fun baby shower, Man! What work. I feel the stress of the wedding growing if that was just a baby shower. I think in my second life I will be an event planner. There is something therapeutic about making things beautiful, showering people with presents and making them smile and have a great time!

So baby Kadyn got so much cute stuff, hurry up and have him already Elizabeth! The rest of my blog is just pictures to share the experience....

Adolfo and Aunt Julie putting the stroller together, nice job guys, He's going to be a great daddy one day....

We had so much food, you can't see it in the picture, but the sides of the table you can't see were filled with great stuff. That is one think my family does well, feed people...
Party favors...

Elizabeth, baby Kadyn and my grandmother's bassinet cake, one day I too will get one...

Grandma, Aunt Rosie, Elizabeth, Aunt Julie and Me...Fun times just for you Elizabeth...

Adisyn and her cousin getting into the games, there too cute to stop...
Never ending pile of presents, and I am the baby book writer....for both babies...

If they won't eat it, why does the baby have too?

Good time family! I can't wait till the bundle of Joy is here, it can't come soon enough. On FFriday I was in such a rush to get to Marble Falls, I forgot to take my gift. Bebe we will bring it the next time we are there, which won't be too long. I hope everyone's week is going great!

Until next time~Ces.

Happy Thursday...

Yeah for Thursdays because that means tomorrow is Friday, AKA the weekend. Time is flying by and I just got the news that Adolfo and I are approved to go to the Catholic Marriage Retreat we wanted in June. I was panicing because there are only so many a year and the others were 1 month before the wedding and the day of our wedding. As the day gets closer, I am ready to get rid of all the stress of the day and just be married to the man of my dreams and live happily ever after. This retreat should be fun and I look forward to it bringing us even closer together.

This weekend is full of eventful activities. We are celebrating Baby Langbein, I love baby showers and my family knows how to through them. Also, Adolfo will be spending his time fishing with the guys and then fishing with my Dad. What a life!

I am going to try and get some wedding things out of the way this evening, well we will see how that goes? Ask me next week. Sorry no pictures, Boring I know, I'll share some later!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, until next time~Ces.

YESTERDAY, P.S. I REALLY DO KNOW HOW TO SPELL.....

Happy Earth Day Yesturday....

So today it felt like a really long day at work, nothing strenuous, I just felt like I needed to get outside because I was feeling much better, no more coughing...In recognition of Earth Day, I felt we should be one with mother nature. So I decided to surprise Adolfo and called him and said lets go fishing. He loves to fish and I, a supportive Fiance, have never been with him, so he was excited.

On our way to the spot....

Isn't it beautiful, it was so peaceful!

Well, that was my spot, but Adolfo likes the bridge, so I watched from my spot...

I pretended I was reading but really I was getting some action shots...look at my fisherman 2 lines.....

Yes, that is my red chair, I took a break from life and relaxed, caught up on my reading and learned how to cast a line....

I hope everyone had a beautiful day! Until next time~Ces.

Here are the pictures...

This is where it all begins....

Figuring out the game plan...

Objective: Attach the seats, Attempt #1

Kelsey = Useless....Still working on the seats, attempt #4 Finally done: Notice the sun has set, lol.....

Making the rice crispy treats, YUM!We got bored....
FUNNY PICTURE WILL INSERT LATER DUE TO COMPUTER ISSUES!

Finished, the weekend is over, time to head back to Austin!

Sick at home...

So I woke up this morning, still not feeling 100%. I have this horrible cough I can't get rid of that has made me cranky all weekend. I thought I would share with you what Adolfo brought me to make me feel better.

He brought me a dozen sunset roses and crazy sunflowers, my favorite, and they definitely made me smile, look at the colors....

So this weekend, sick and all, Adolfo and I hung out at my parents house. Adolfo's weekend consisted of preping his boat for two days worth of fishing with my Dad and fishing. I spent the weekend with my Mom and Taylor. My weekend included watching them prep the boat, volunteering at the Wildflower festival well watching Tay volunteer, lol, watching Kelsey's softball game, Janie's surprise party.

Sunday we relaxed and my Mom took Taylor and I to Silver K for a breakfast Brunch, so good! Then I slept the day away! My mom cooked to surprise the guys when they got home and then Tay and I made peanut butter rice crispy treats, its been awhile! So no more writing, I will share pictures, Hope you enjoy! Alright I am having trouble uploading pics so pics will be up later....

A week later....

So this week has been very busy! I have been in San Antonio working. I loved being there because I got to spend time with my sister Claudia, so yeah for being sent to there! But we had to get the job done in four days if we wanted to come home Thursday night, and we did. So I took a half day off today. It is beautiful outside, and I can't wait to enjoy it.

Adolfo took off today to pick up his new 12ft aluminum fishing boat. I haven't seen it yet, but he is excited, so we are going home to my parent's house so he can install seats and check out the new motor. I will have pictures later!

I also spent this week helping my lovely little sisters. I edited Tay's scholarship essays, I can't believe she is so grown up! And I helped Claudia update her resume. Can I just brag about them for a little bit. I am so proud of them and what they have accomplished, I am not a mom yet, but I can not imagine loving and worrying about a little person as much as I do about them. I am so protective. So if anyone knows of scholarship opportunities or has any job openings in the business management field let me know!

So now I am breathing and taking a break. My house is clean my bags are packed, I am waiting for Adolfo, so let the weekend begin. First top SONIC!

No pictures for this blog, but hopefully I will have some after this weekend because we will be enjoying nature's beauty all weekend.

I hope everyone had a beautiful week with the one's close to their hearts. Until next time~Ces.

????

As you can tell we really haven't figured this spacing thing out yet, lol........

Really good weekend....

Weekend Recap. Wow what a great weekend, and there is still time left! After a really long and eventful week it is nice to just come home and spend your time doing things you enjoy rather than finishing up all the things you did not do during the week.

Friday night Adolfo and I enjoyed a date at Chili's (our favorite! The first place we ate in Abilene the first 3 1/2 hour trip he made) I enjoyed a great margarita and him mango lemonade, lol. Next we went to get my ring clean, and a stone was loose so we got that fixed and then we made our random stroll through Target for nothing impaticular, Just keeping our eye's open for baby things for Elizabeth. Its a whole new world of things for us to shop for and we stayed so late they turned the lights out on us! (Adolfo fun fact: Target was the place he worked when we met, he hooked me up with so many great deals and surprises)!
Well Saturday, let all the fun begin! Adolfo and I decided to take our great little Honda's for a service check up and oil change. We wanted to beat the Saturday morning rushes so we were up and out by 7AM, yeah that is right, earlier than I am up for work! Well on our way, guess who gets a speeding ticket, ME! Note to self: Pay attention. Next, after we leave our cars we had a breakfast date at Frisco's. For anyone not from Austin it is one of the oldest and cutest Dinner's in Austin off Lamar. Some employees have worked there over 30 years. After we ate breakfast, we had a clean the house day, it is so great to see how well we work together and get things done, we both have our own chores so there is no bossing around, just get it done and it all gets done really fast. I must say Adolfo is an amazing cleaner, in my eyes that is so attractive! All of this was done before noon, I love getting up early!

In an earlier blog I mentioned that I was going to post pictures when I re-did the guest room, so I finally got that done on Saturday. I love RED! So come visit, this will be your room....

All Saturday Afternoon, I hung out with my college roomate Catharine. We ate lunch at Chedder's and spent the day shopping at IKEA. After all the looking the only thing I walked out with was a cooking smasher, lol, oh well can't wait to use it! So, leads me to my next picture...

Did you know they charge $.05 cents a bag! That is crazy, why not just include it in the cost of the item rather then shock us when they ask how many bags will you be needing today, I should of just walked out with it my hand, but i need the bag. Now I am curious how much bags really cost, hmmm... Adolfo spent the afternoon fixing his parent's mower and shopping with his mom. Now, I know I love to shop, but she LOVES to shop! So I am really proud of him for being so patient and spending some quality time with his mom letting her do something she enjoys, I hope one day we have a son just like him!

Last night Adolfo and I watched Leatherheads, I guess we were more tired than we thought because I fell asleep at the beginning and he fell asleep at the end. I guess we will be watching that again!

So it is Sunday, and in a minute I will be working to catch up on clients so I can travel to a client in San Antonio for the week. Friday I get a half day off so I am motivated to get things done. The house is peaceful (thanks to all the aroma theapy candles I got in my Easter basket, thanks Mom and Curt) and clean. Adolfo is gone for the day...he left me for my family. It is such a beautiful day so they guys are playing golf, well trying to perfect their game as Pat puts it. So good luck Pat, Sabatisian, Travis and Adolfo, can't wait to see how that turns out. Next time me, Elizabeth and Emily need to just go watch and be encouragers, well we will try, lol.

I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend....that is if for now until next time!

Weekend recap and 149 days till the Wedding!

So this weekend was my Grandma's Surprise Birthday. We were supposed to go to a Wedding, but our schedules were so overwhelming we decided to just go into Marble Falls and focus on my final, Adolfo's research paper and the Surprise Party and spend some time with our family. It was a beautiful weekend and here are some pictures. Adolfo and I decided we wanted to get up early Saturday morning and visit Emily at work and try the amazing waffles at the Java Bean we here about....
So here we are in our PJ's with emily, as you can tell the waffles were amazing, and there is nothing left....This is our new favorite place for breakfast, well second to my Grandma's resturant. We will be going again soon. Adolfo and I enjoyed it and he tried to teach me chess, it was a beautiful Saturday morning....the rest of the day was filled with reviews and research....

Let the Party begin....

It was a fun night, and Sunday the family woke up and cleaned up. Our Aunt's made an amazing breakfast as we all ate outside under the tree. The family has so wound up that we played a best out of 5 volleyball match, ,my team lost 2-1. Oh well next time, but it was fun! I got sunburned so I will not have to wear blush for awhile. Grandma had so many presents we watched her open them all on Sunday, this picture was when she was finished...
So last night I had my final and I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders, now it is time to focus on the Wedding! Only 149 days to go! Tonight I am enjoying the first study free night, by updating my blog, cleaning house, working out and working so I am not busy with work this weekend! All I can say is I am ready for the weekend!

Weekend of celebrations....

So I needed to take a break so I thought I would post a little something before this weekend gets even crazier! I don't really have any pictures of Adolfo and I working all hours of the night and study exams and client files all over our hours, lol! So I thought I would share this picture with you in lue of all the celebration taking place this weekend. Hopefully I will have some fun pics on Sunday to Share.

Can you guess when this picture was? I love this photo! The day was beautiful...a long weekend with my family, look at the sky, beautiful music, and a ring! This picture really touches my heart and reminds me of all the sacrifices Aldolfo makes to make me happy, My guy is AMAZING, even though he is brat sometimes, lol!

After we survive this weekend all is well, well almost. We will be attending a Wedding, a surprise party, and complete a research paper and study for a final exam. I don't know how our life will be one day when we just have work and that is it! A girl can dream....
So we will probably see everyone this weekend at one time or another, so work hard because the day is almost over, and don't do anything stupid or you will see your picture here on Sunday, lol. 3 hours and counting! Bye, until next time.

Happy Birthday....

Today is my Grandma Janie's birthday (well really yesturday by the time I post this) so I thought I would share a picture of me and my grandma, 6 lessons she has taught me, and why I think she is so amazing.

1. Give 100%. My grandma does everything whole heartedly. She gives 100% to her church, her family, her friends and her job. No matter how busy her life may be, if I need her she is there.

2. Be confident. My grandma is the strongest most confident women I know. I am so inspired by her. I remember when I was a little girl, I loved watching her work and mingle with people at her resturant. I knew one day I was going to be a business women just like her! She knew what she wanted all along, and she believed in herself, and she made it happened! She was confident in what she could do and never let anyone tell her otherwise.

3. Always forgive. My grandma has the most forgiving heart. She has taught me that no matter what situations happen in our lives we need to let go of the anger and forgive eachother. Life is too short to hold anger towards one another.

4. Always remember who you are and where you come from. She has taught me that although life may take us all to different places and present us with challenging situations, never forget your home and where you come from. I love how she has worked so hard to keep a strong relationship between our family, and that we all keep each other grounded. I try everyday in everything I do to act in a way I know my family would be proud of.

5. Laugh. My grandma has taught me to laugh and smile. I love being with my family and my grandma because we are friends. There is no better feeling than all of us being together sharing stories or making fun of eachother and laughing so hard we are all crying. There is so much joy in our family and I know it is because of the time grandma put into creating beautiful memories for all of us.

6. Trust God and have Faith. My grandma has such a strong faith and is such a beautiful women of Christ. She has taught me to trust God, and to not be afraid ask for help. She has played an important role as to why church is such an important part of my life. I remember when we were little kids and we all had to go to church with her and we would get in trouble because we would look around and not pay attention, lol. Thank you grandma! No matter what accomplishments she achieves in life, she is so humble, and gives all the glory to God. She says God gives to her so she can give to others, what a beautiful attitude she has, Just another reason why she is amazing!

7. Appreciate Life. This is the biggest and most beautiful lesson I have learned from her. Too many times we take what is important for granted. Every time I am with her she makes me slow down. I have a bad habbit of letting life run me, and when I visit her and spend time with her she tells me to SLOW DOWN, and don't miss all the things that are in front of you because you are so focused on getting ahead. I love how honest she is with me, and it is so true. I love seeing how much joy she gets out of life, whether it be getting to cook breakfast for me and Adolfo when we spend the night because she doesn't ever get to make BIG breakfasts anymore, playing 31 or mexican train and always beating the grandkids ( I don't know how she does it!), sitting in the hot tub talking all night with our glasses of wine. Its about just being together and I love that about her.

Wow, there is so much more, but you see how amazing she is, she really is a joy! If you know her then you understand and if you don't, you need to meet her because she will touch your heart. Happy Birthday Grandma, I love you!
